Sinthia has managed to secure a bank loan for home improvements, except she has no intention of using it for that purpose. Instead, she and her boyfriend are planning an extravagant world cruise and lots of high living, and they chat on the phone about their plans. Jasmine, an assessor at the bank where the loan was issued, has some reservations about some of the answers on Sinthia's application, and decides to follow up to make sure that the funds will be applied appropriately. When she arrives at Sinthia's house and receives no response to her knock on the door, Jasmine lets herself in and overhears some of Sinthia's conversation. Her suspicions were correct.
