A man is holding Vivian captive. He needs to leave for a short while and cannot take her with him. So to insure, she will stay put, her ties her up very tight. Knowing she will scream for help the minute she thinks someone will hear, he stuffs and ties a gag in her mouth. He leaves Vivian to struggle bound and gagged for a while as he gets ready to leave. But then, before he leaves, he makes sure Vivian stays well muffled by tying another gag over her mouth and then a thick piece of cloth over her nose and mouth. This will make breathing hard and she will not move around as much without tiring herself out. Plus it will keep a bit more quiet.
