One of the thugs calls some numbers and put it on speakers. When the one on the other side pick up, the voice already made Jessice froze up.

"Who is this?"

"Hello, Mr. Mayor! It's me, the one you hire to grab some chicks weeks ago!"

"Oh, yes, yes!"

It's really The Mayor, Jessica's still-legally-married husband! Jessica was too shocked that some mere thugs have a personal number of him, but she tried as hard as she can to not let a voice and notifying him of her presence. However, the thug switched to video call, and show Jessica to the camera.

"Look who I've meet, sir!"

"You found my wife? That's great" said The Mayor on the phone. "Wait there, I'm still busy with my business. I'm going to send someone-"

"No, no, no, you misunderstand me, sir," said the thugs. "We're not 'finding' your wife, we're kidnapping your wife!" said him. "I think you can for the ransom, can't you?"

The Mayor scoffed. "Ransom? How ridiculous!" said him. "You really dare to demand ransom to me??"

"Of course, sir! we're just an honest citizen looking for an honest payout! I'm sure you understand!" said the thug.

The Mayor thought for a moment. "You say you kidnap my wife, but I didn't see her suffering at all there," said him. "For all I know, this is just a ploy thought by my lovely wife and you thugs to get money from me!"

"We tied her really tight here, that's not suffering enough?"

"That's just daily events for her. I'm not conviced yet!"

"Well then we just have to do more!"

Jessica knew that The Mayor might do anything to get her back as his toy. She just didn't realize how much The Mayor also wanted her to suffer along the way....
